Renewal Eligibility

Completing this online course is only ONE component to maintaining your instructor status.  In order to renew, all instructors must meet the following criteria:

• Teach a MINIMUM of 4 Courses in 2 years for EACH discipline – (BLS Instructors must have at least 1 of their 4 courses as BLS, any combination of this with HeartSaver courses is fine)
• Attend an instructor renewal (in person or online) or be observed teaching
• Pass the written exam
